Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join the USANA’s Japan market development team as a market development supervisor. In this position, you are responsible for driving new enrollments and sales by fostering a positive and supportive environment for Business Partners, including strong engagement with Chinese-speaking communities.
What You Will Do as USANA’s Market Development Supervisor
Essential
- Drive engagement initiatives with brand partners and key leaders, to strengthen their connection with the USANA community and support sustainable business growth.
- Identify, develop, and mentor emerging leaders through ongoing monitoring, coaching, and follow-up to enhance their performance and long-term potential.
- Collaborate with Business Manager and Regional Service Unit in the design and evaluation of market development promotions and incentive programs to ensure feasibility, effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress toward business objectives, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Support capability development by assisting brand partners in creating training materials and presentation decks, and by delivering programs suited to different experience levels both in-office and during roadshows.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, brand partner training sessions, recognition programs, incentive trips, and other engagement activities.
- Oversee vendor management, including sourcing, negotiation, and coordination, to ensure quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Drive recruitment initiatives by organizing both online and offline meetings to attract and engage potential brand partners.
- Prepare PowerPoint for presentations and reports for management.
Additionally
- Maintain consistent, effective, and respectful communication with Corporate, Managers, Colleagues, and Brand Partners.
- Assist with field engagement for business events.
- Provide administrative support in maintaining lead referral databases.
- Travel domestically and internationally on weekends and evenings as required for USANA/brand partners events
- Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned.
Background and Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, or a related role. Experience in the direct selling industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and Japanese. Proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Positive attitude with working with Brand Partners and other team members.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Knowledge about Direct Selling Industry and Brand Partner behavior.
- Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Must be detail-oriented, well-organized and strong analytical skill and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Organizing skills in running promotions and events.
